The only Halfghan with freckles, Ursula Taherian was born and raised in Crofton, Maryland by her Afghani Father and Irish/Scottish Mother. She attended Loyola University where she graduated summa cum laude with a major in Finance and a minor in Spanish. She went on to do the whole Corporate America thing (some banking, some consulting, the ushe), until finally hanging up her pant suit and heading to Los Angeles.
Ursula has found a balance between pursuing comedic and dramatic opportunities that include participating in the Middle Eastern Comedy Festival, studying at The Groundlings and Second City, and working on dramatic films that include the award-winning BLACK COBRA. She also starred alongside John Michael Higgins, Missi Pyle and Anthony Clark in the comedic film, MY UNCLE RAFAEL. Some of her television credits include roles on the ABC Family show, Chasing Life, as well as Pretty Little Liars, and NCIS: Los Angeles. She is also regarded as an up-and-comer in the Los Angeles standup comedy scene, appearing most recently at The Comedy Store on Sunset.
Ursula has made a name for herself in the voice over community as well, voicing television and radio campaigns for Glade, Dunkin Donuts , Honda, and McDonalds, to name a few, as well as several video games, including Minecraft, Saints Row, And Diablo III. Oh, and a magic carpet ride at Disney World. In China. Ursula is currently a series regular on the popular animated Disney show, Descendants: Wicked World, and is a recurring voice on Family Guy. And if you actually watch commercials (she hopes you do), you can be sure to spot her in a variety of national ads, such as Discover Card, Best Buy, and Staples.
When you can’t find her you can usually find her dangling from the silks or contorting at Kinetic Theory Circus and Theatre in Culver City.
Ursula lives in the Los Angeles area with her Meyer lemon tree.
