The South Riding is one of The 19 Regions of Auradon and a very prominent one. It lies in the south (of course) and was made out of two different kingdoms when Auradon was formed 20 years prior to Descendants, namely Corona (Tangletown) and Sleeping Beauty's kingdom (Auroria). The South Riding is next to Auradon Central and the East Riding. There are three castles there (Including Honeymoon Cottage) and four cities:
- Auroria, the kingdom of King Phillip and Queen Aurora.
- Tangletown, the kingdom of Eugene Fitzherbert and Rapunzel.
- Redempton
- Leopoldville
By the bridge of Benevolence, the South Riding is connected to History Island.
